Logistics Operator

Our client is currently looking for a Logistics/Warehouse Operator for their defence site at Potts Point.

Initially this will be a 3-month contract, with potential to extend. It is essential that you are an Australian Citizen and be able to pass Federal Police check, as you will be required to obtain Defence Security Clearances.

About the role

• Manage and handle parts, components, materials in the warehouse
• Perform warehouse acceptance & despatch
• Organise or manage inventories
• Conduct onsite shipping, receiving, warehousing and handling activities
• Process customer requests consistent with contract requirements
• Manage shipments for customers (internal and external)
• Manage the Logistics companies delivering and collecting from site

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrated the following:

• Basic knowledge of Production and Repair processes.
• Knowledge of supply chain roles & inventory management
• Have good computer skills & be confident in learning new software
• Be customer focused
• Follow workflows and have as safety-first mindset
• Hold a current forklift licence
